1 cup (250ml) guayusa tea (steep 1 Tbsp dried guayusa leaves in hot water for 5-7 min)
30-40g Pachakuti cacao
1 tsp maca powder (for vitality and stamina)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (for warmth and circulation)
1/4 tsp cayenne (optional) (to enhance the heart-opening properties of cacao)
1 tsp raw honey or yacon syrup (for a touch of sweetness and digestive support)
1 tsp coconut butter (for creaminess and sustained energy)
Pinch of sea salt (to balance flavors and enhance mineral absorption)
Preparation
Prepare the guayusa tea – Steep the guayusa leaves in hot water for 5-7 minutes, then strain.
Melt the cacao – Add the chopped cacao paste to the warm guayusa tea and stir until fully melted.
Blend for creaminess – Pour the mixture into a blender, add maca, cinnamon, cayenne, honey, coconut butter and a pinch of sea salt. Blend until frothy.
