Guayusa Cacao Ritual Elixir

Guayusa Cacao Ritual Elixir

A sacred fusion of Amazonian cacao and guayusa for clarity, energy and connection.

Ingredients (Serves 1-2)

1 cup (250ml) guayusa tea (steep 1 Tbsp dried guayusa leaves in hot water for 5-7 min)

30-40g Pachakuti cacao

1 tsp maca powder (for vitality and stamina)

1/2 tsp cinnamon (for warmth and circulation)

1/4 tsp cayenne (optional) (to enhance the heart-opening properties of cacao)

1 tsp raw honey or yacon syrup (for a touch of sweetness and digestive support)

1 tsp coconut butter (for creaminess and sustained energy)

Pinch of sea salt (to balance flavors and enhance mineral absorption)

Preparation

Prepare the guayusa tea – Steep the guayusa leaves in hot water for 5-7 minutes, then strain.

Melt the cacao – Add the chopped cacao paste to the warm guayusa tea and stir until fully melted.

Blend for creaminess – Pour the mixture into a blender, add maca, cinnamon, cayenne, honey, coconut butter and a pinch of sea salt. Blend until frothy.

Serve with intention – Pour into your favourite ceremonial cup. Take a deep breath, set an intention and enjoy slowly.

Why This Works Ceremonially

Cacao opens the heart and deepens emotional awareness.

Guayusa brings mental clarity, gentle energy, and dream-like intuition.

Maca adds grounding energy and balances hormones.

Cinnamon & cayenne activate circulation and warmth.

Coconut butter provides a nourishing, creamy texture that aids absorption.

This blend creates a harmonious balance between grounding and expansion, making it ideal for meditation, journaling, breathwork or creative rituals.
