Sourced from the heart of the Amazon, our finely cut Guayusa delivers a smooth, sustained energy boost without the jitters or crash. Known as the "Night Watchman" by indigenous Kichwa communities, Guayusa has been used for centuries to promote clarity, focus, and endurance.
Our fine-cut Guayusa is ground to a smaller tea size, allowing for quicker preparation and a stronger brew. Whether enjoyed traditionally or as a refreshing iced tea, this nutrient-rich infusion connects you to the wisdom of the rainforest with every sip.
Health Benefits
Guayusa is more than just an energising tea—it is packed with essential compounds that support overall wellbeing.
- Sustained Energy Without Jitters – Naturally rich in caffeine and theobromine, Guayusa provides a steady energy lift without the crashes or anxiety associated with coffee.
- Enhances Mental Clarity & Focus – Traditionally consumed by indigenous warriors and shamans, Guayusa sharpens concentration, improves alertness, and supports cognitive function.
- Rich in Antioxidants – Containing more antioxidants than green tea, Guayusa helps combat oxidative stress, supports immune function, and promotes overall vitality.
- Supports Digestive & Metabolic Health – Naturally alkalising, Guayusa aids digestion and may help regulate metabolism, making it a great addition to a balanced diet.
- Promotes Relaxation & Wellbeing – With a unique combination of caffeine, theobromine, and l-theanine, Guayusa provides a calm yet alert state, helping to maintain focus while reducing stress.

Directions
For a traditional brew, we recommend 1 tablespoon (3 grams) of ground Guayusa per 8 oz of water.
- Bring fresh, cold water to a boil.
- Pour boiling water over the Guayusa leaves.
- Steep for 4–7 minutes, or longer for a stronger, darker brew.
- Strain tea into a pot or drinking vessel. A French press can also be used.
In Ecuador, Guayusa is often enjoyed hot or cold with lemon juice and panela for a naturally sweet and refreshing twist.
