A simple way to work with cacao properly. Each bar is segmented into approximately 42g ceremonial portions, so you can measure your dose without guesswork - whether for daily use or group ceremony.

Arriba Nacional is among the rarest cacao varieties in the world - and one of the hardest to source authentically. Ours comes directly from indigenous farming associations in Ecuador, where we work on the ground to ensure every batch is traceable, ethically grown and processed with full transparency. Mislabelling is common in this industry. We're not interested in that.

How to prepare

Daily dose: 10–25g. Full ceremonial dose: up to 42g.

1. Heat water, guayusa tea, or nut milk to 80°C - not boiling.
2. Remove from heat and shave in your cacao.
3. Add herbs or a little sweetener if you like.
4. Stir slowly until fully blended.
5. Sit with it. Set an intention. Drink without rushing.

A few things worth knowing

A dose over 50g may cause nausea or headaches - more is not more. Keep cacao away from dogs. If you're on antidepressants, heart medication, or MAOIs, check with your doctor first.
